Civility and Respect Pledge

Collingtree Parish Council took the Civility and Respect Pledge at it's Full Council Meeting on Wednesday 16th April 2025

Local councils play a crucial role in our communities, and it’s essential that councillors, the clerk, staff, volunteers and residents can work together in an environment that is respectful, professional and free from bullying and harassment.

By signing the pledge, Collingtree Parish Council is making a clear commitment to

  • Treating everyone with respect
  • Upholding high standards of conduct
  • Promoting a culture free from bullying and intimidation
  • Supporting training and development to encourage good leadership.

Local councils play a vital role in our communities and its essential that we foster an environment where respectful, positive and professional discussions can thrive.

By committing to this pledge Collingtree Parish Council reaffirms its dedication to upholding civility, respect and good governance in all we do.
