Proposals for a new employment development at Junction 15 M1

The Parish Council have been contacted by the Haworth Group regarding a public consultation for their proposal at the M1 Junction 15 site, please see below their email and accompanying document.

There will be a meeting at The Hilton Hotel on Wednesday 11th December 3-7pm for members of the public. 

Dear Collingtree Parish Council,

I hope my email finds you well. I’m getting in touch on behalf of Harworth Group regarding their proposals for a new employment site off Junction 15 of the M1. The site benefits from a draft allocation in West Northamptonshire’s emerging Local Plan and we are now launching a public consultation exercise ahead of progressing with a planning application.

As one of the neighbouring parishes, I wanted to provide you with a copy of a briefing document that provides you with a summary of the site and what Harworth Group is proposing. We have also launched a website to provide the community with information and we will be sending out a newsletter to those living near to the site.

On 11^th December we will be holding a drop-in consultation event at the Spencer Suite at the Hilton Hotel, where people can come to learn more about the plans and speak to the project team. We will be holding a preview session from 2-3pm for elected representatives. This will ensure that you get the opportunity to speak directly with the team members involved in the project. The event will then be open to members of the public from 3-7pm.

We would also be more than happy to arrange a dedicated meeting with you on a date of your choosing to discuss the plans in greater detail. If this would be of interest, then please do let me know.
